The desolate and rugged stretch of California's central coast, known as Big Sur, has been a tremendous inspiration for adventurists, including myself. The area remains undeveloped, resulting in some of the most unforgettable views on the California coast. I feel fortunate to have explored this region for many years, capturing its stunning and dramatic scenery. One of the most unique features of Big Sur is McWay Falls. This is a particularly unique waterfall due to its location, as it transforms into a tidefall during high tide, cascading directly into the ocean.
On this particular overcast day, I was captivated by the muted, soft tones of the trees, stone outcroppings, cliffs, and beach, contrasted with the vibrant turquoise hue of the Pacific.
