One of the activities I enjoy the most is taking impromptu road trips. It provides an opportunity to get out of the "funk," immerse in nature, and experience a change of scenery. We had originally intended to take a day trip from Los Angeles to Morro Bay, California. But we ended up deciding to spend the night in this delightful and charming seaside town. As sunset approached, I was hoping to capture a photo near the embarcadero. The fog descended rapidly, transforming the sunny coastal view into a peaceful and misty atmosphere. As a landscape photographer, you have to think quickly on your feet when conditions are not what you expected. You have to be adaptable and work with whatever mother nature throws your way.
